Introducing the Kūaotunu Hall

Looking to celebrate your special day in a gorgeous beachside environment and then celebrate with your family and friends in a special and intimate venue? You've come to the right place!

The Kūaotunu Hall can cater for up to 100 people (80 if the event is seated) and its historic character, plus its proximity to the beach, make it a unique wedding venue that will give you memories to cherish forever.

What will it cost?

The fee to hire the Kūaotunu Hall for a wedding is $1200 (this fee is discounted by 50% for residents of Kuaotunu and the surrounding areas, please see the fee schedule for details).

The fee covers a 48 hour period, normally from noon on a Friday (for a Saturday wedding) until noon on the Sunday. For weddings on other days of the week the same 48 hour period applies. No discount is given for a shorter time period.

If you are intending to hold a wedding ceremony on any beach or reserve in the Coromandel you need to apply to the Thames-Coromandel District Council for permission.
